Strategically located in near proximity to the shoppingmeccas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone Village, the 4* Deluxe Mandeville Hotel (a Preferred Hotel), is now seeking talents to join our vibrant and dynamic Reservations Team.
Overview:
Under the direction of theGroupRevenue Manger, the Reservation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the reservations team, ensuring a smooth booking process for guests, and maximizing room revenue through effective inventory management and pricing strategies. The role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of hospitality systems and customer service standards.
Requirements
* At least 2 years experience as a Reservations Supervisor in an hotel
* A hands on and positive attitude, this company truly nurtures the staff, and they value good results with fantastic training, progression and incentives
* Knowledge in Opera Cloud
* Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills
Key Job Responsibilities:
To manage the day to day operation of the reservations department ensuring that all systems and procedures identified in the reservations.
To ensure that the department provides a high level of customer service and meets the brand standard for all reservations.
To ensure that you and your team are fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and to pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises in order to maximise hotels sales.
To manage and fully understand all systems in the hotel relating to front office control and strategic management e.g. Opera Cloud, Synxis
Assist with implementation of procedures, to enable smooth booking/check in process.
Work to develop updated SOPs for daily tasks, and share with FO or relevant depts.
Take responsibility of Group Enquiries and bookings-from enquiry stage, through to arrival ensuring all key depts. are fully aware of requirements and any F&B or special arrangements.
This role includes structured growth opportunities and exposure to the responsibilities of a Revenue Manager.
