Job Description
Fleming-Agri Products are currently looking to recruit an internal transport/dispatch coordinator to join our team. Fleming Agri–Products is a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery based in Newbuilding's, Northern Ireland. The company promotes a value for money product portfolio that is sold extensively throughout the UK and Ireland as well as several significant export markets including France, New Zealand and the USA. All manufacturing facilities are sited in Newbuildings with metal processing and finishing the primary activities employing over 100 people.
About The Role
As an internal transport/dispatch coordinator, you will oversee the delivery processes of goods in and out of the company. You will coordinate all aspects of driver and vehicle management. You will play a central role, servicing our dealer network throughout the UK and Ireland, working to ensure an efficient and effective service with our own lorries and subcontractors.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage the goods in and goods out processes
2. Plan, organise, and administer domestic and international deliveries.
3. Oversee all aspects of driver and vehicle management
4. Communicate and liaise with internal departments, such as sales, production, and accounts teams, and customers to successfully plan efficient collections/deliveries and ensure transparency is maintained across internal departments.
5. Ensure efficient use of driver, vehicle and asset resources through effective routing and scheduling of drivers
6. Be proactive in identifying and implementing supply chain efficiency savings such as vehicle utilisation, fuel management
7. Organise vehicles and trailers to meet maintenance schedules and ensure all periodic inspections are completed
8. Manage driver tachograph monitoring systems in line with relevant regulations
9. Ensure compliance with all driver and transport regulations
10. Ensure effective management of Operators licence and requirements. Ensure all vehicles are road legal. Promptly deal with any issues/defects that may arise
11. Raise and check all delivery dockets for both the company’s own lorries and subcontractors.
12. Ensure all record keeping is maintained to a high standard

About The Company
The Fleming Agri factory is based in Newbuildings, North West Northern Ireland. The purpose built factory was established in 1983 on a modest half acre site.Over the years the factory has had several expansion developments including a £1.1m expansion which was completed in 2013. More recently a new 22,000 square feet factory has been opened mid 2020 for the manufacture of larger capacity trailers and vacuum tankers.With the pace of new technology moving so fast, the company embraces a policy of continuous improvement, involving the most up to date design packages, CNC production machinery and processes including robotic welding.
