Join our client who specialise in supporting individuals with brain injury. The centre is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to individuals experiencing brain injury, offering a unique environment where individuals embark on a transformative journey toward recovery.
As a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions to support the rehabilitation and recovery of our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning.
2. Formulate tailored rehabilitation plans based on assessment findings, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members.
3. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address cognitive and emotional difficulties, fostering optimal recovery outcomes.
4. Offer consultation and support to clients, families, and caregivers, facilitating understanding and coping strategies.
5. Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
6. Stay abreast of latest research and developments in the field of clinical neuropsychology, integrating findings into practice.
Requirements:
7. Doctoral-level qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology from a recognized institution.
8. Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical Psychologist.
9. Extensive post-qualification experience in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation within a clinical setting.
10. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
