Summary of Role: The job role involves being responsibility for processing production in their department and ensuring that hygiene, quality and health and safety standards are maintained. A key element of this role is to work as part of a team to meet production KPI's. Duties and Responsibilities: Machinery and equipment safety checks as necessary; Recording of raw material on the intake system; Inspecting Product to ensure that it meets the required specification; To fulfil daily production requirements as instructed by the Line Leader/ Production Management Team; Responsible to keeping downtime and waste to a minimum; Engage in ensuring compliance with relevant sections of BRC & Customer food quality standards to ensure compliance. The Person: Previous work experience in a food manufacturing environment; Experience of record keeping with attention to detail; An awareness of health and safety legislation; Demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills; Good level of written and spoken English; Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines & targets.
