Our school is dedicated to providing tailored support to young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including those with ADHD who often find mainstream education challenging. As a Science Teacher / Science Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping these students develop their mathematical skills and gain confidence in their abilities. At the school, they understand the importance of individualized support and provide a nurturing environment where students can thrive. As a Science Teacher / Science Tutor, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and adaptive lessons that cater to the specific learning needs of each student. Key Responsibilities: -Deliver engaging lessons and tutoring sessions as a Science Teacher / Science Tutor, ensuring the learning is accessible and stimulating. -Work closely with students who may find mainstream education challenging, particularly those with ADHD. -Provide one-on-one support as needed, helping students to build their understanding of mathematics. -Collaborate with other staff members to create individualized learning plans for each student. -Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to meet the students’ evolving needs. Skills and Experience Required: -Qualified Science Teacher / or Unqualified Teacher or Tutor with a strong knowledge of mathematics. -Experience in working with young people, particularly those with ADHD or other SEMH needs. -A passion for making learning accessible and enjoyable for all students. -Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and support staff.
