As a Multi-Skilled Engineer – Building Fabric Bias, you will be a key part of our team, contributing to the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services within NI Water facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform reactive and planned building fabric repairs and maintenance within NI Water facilities, including basic plumbing tasks based on your skillset. Engage in reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and minor project works to support the development of NI Water’s facilities management strategy. Interact professionally with a diverse range of clients, representing GRAHAM with courtesy and expertise. Complete and submit accurate documentation in both hard copy and electronic formats. Utilise PDAs or other electronic devices to manage and complete tasks efficiently. Solve complex technical problems related to minor works, including sourcing parts and liaising with manufacturers for technical support. Adhere to the highest health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments for each task to ensure best practices. Provide regular out-of-hours cover as part of a rota system. About You Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a building maintenance role, particularly with carpentry or joinery skills. Full UK Driver’s License. Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card. Desirable Criteria IOSH – Working Safely or equivalent certification. IT skills, particularly in using PDAs for task management. Asbestos awareness training.
