1. Open and close the Club at the agreed opening times, including the 15 minutes before the shift is due to start and 15 minutes to clean down at the end of a shift, set / unset the security alarm etc. Unlock the fire doors and making sure that all fire exits are clear.
2. Carry out all normal bar work in a friendly manner in line with the Values and Standards that we expect from a member of the RBL Club and be courteous and professional to everyone at all times.
3. Reconcile and record the start and end of shift float and drop cash into drop safe with the documents provided.
4. Ensure customers who want to purchase alcohol, or other members who wish to purchase for them, are over 18, always challenge if you have any suspicion that they may be under 18, no proof of ID then they are refused any alcoholic drinks.
5. Replenish the Bar Stock on the shelves and in the fridges as required. Rotate the stock oldest at the front and report any out of date stock to the bar manager.
6. Undertake appropriate cleaning of bar and table surfaces during and at the end of each shift, mop floors etc. Any additional cleaning that can be carried out during any slack periods will enhance the general cleanliness of the club facility.
7. All trays, taps nozzles etc to be cleaned at the end of each shift.
8. Clean & tidy any shelves as required.
9. Remove beer towels etc from the bar at the end of each shift.
10. Empty all rubbish bins & remove empty bottles at the beginning of each shift.
11. When locking up the club ensure that the rear door by the toilets has been locked, checking the windows are shut and that all fire doors (including upstairs) are shut.
