About The Role
We are looking for an individual that will lead the development and delivery of training, education, and professional development across the hospital. Supporting the nursing team and allied health professionals to meet the requirements of their role, regulatory and professional bodies. Encourage, support, and develop the nursing and allied health professionals to consistently deliver the highest possible standards of care and patient experience, as well as promoting a lifelong learning culture providing high-level professional leadership for the delivery of workforce development.
What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Practice Educator, you will work with the Training and Apprenticeship team to support and coach clinical apprentices within secondary care. You will be responsible for arranging the apprenticeship placements and supporting them to gain the most from their learning experience. You will enhance the quality of the practice learning environment through the provision of support, advice, and clinical education sessions. You will be a strong leader who always leads by example and provides inspiration to learners to help them achieve their full potential.
What we'll look for in you
1. A Registered Nurse with current professional registration with NMC, with a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience of clinical practice within any nursing field.
2. You will have a proven track record of recently supporting learners in practice, excellent communication and time management skills.
3. Achieved a qualification in teaching and assessment in clinical practice (i.e., mentorship).
