Administrator (Animal Journey Team Member)
Role Purpose: The Animal Journey volunteer will provide a high standard of support through the animal adoption process, meeting the outstanding aspects of Woodside RSPCA Leicestershire, Peterborough and Rutland. You will strive to maintain, drive, and go beyond compliance expectations both internally and externally, ensuring that our values are upheld and that we are compliant in everything we do. While ensuring that our animals are the focus of our service, you will need to uphold the charity’s high standards and ensure that they are maintaining and working within current regulations and guidelines set out by the charity.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver an outstanding adoption experience.
* Follow all aspects of the animal rehoming journey outlined in the Woodside procedures and complete the related systems/documents.
* Deliver an outstanding customer experience.
* Escalate any resolution of customer enquiries, complaints, or issues to the Animal Journey Assistant or Team Leader when necessary.
* Pass on adopters' issues or concerns to the Animal Journey Assistant or Team Leader.
* Complete and log all adopter feedback onto relevant documentation or systems.
* Meet and greet potential adopters on Woodside open days.
* Meet and greet potential adopters at appointments, ensuring that they are aware of next steps and booking in next appointments.
* Log discussions with potential adopters and ensure that all procedures are followed correctly to remain in line with the regulations involved in the rehoming process.

Before you can start volunteering, you’ll need to complete our simple online Health & Safety course and any associated training required for your role. Tetanus is a life-threatening bacterial disease caused by an infection in an open wound. All volunteers must be suitably protected. We recommend that volunteers check their vaccination history with their GP. If a volunteer has not had the required doses, the GP should offer them free of charge as part of the UK vaccination schedule.
