About the Role
As a Network Officer, you will play a role in the operation, development, and security of the organization’s IT networks. Your responsibilities will include:
* Project Management: Leading the installation and provisioning of IT infrastructure projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Network Administration: Managing active network equipment, security systems, and service systems while maintaining high availability and performance.
* Innovation: Designing and implementing modifications to improve network configuration, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and best practices.
* Monitoring and Security: Developing systems to track network performance and security, managing incident responses, and liaising with external service providers.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive, customer-focused individual with:
* A solid understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN technologies, enterprise wireless systems, and structured cabling standards.
* Proficiency in protocols such as DHCP, DNS, and SNMP, with experience in managing and configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical, results-driven approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* A degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
