An opportunity has become available for an IT Data Analyst located at our Head Office in Eastwood, South Australia for a permanent full-time role. Eldercare has embarked on a digital transformation project connecting multiple source systems to a Microsoft Fabric data analytics platform to drive scalability, process automation, visual analytics and advanced analytics capabilities. We are looking for someone who has brilliant technical skills and is also a keen collaborator and can partner with a range of stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organisation. Your analytical mind lets you analyse data quickly and effectively, and your outstanding communication skills means you can convey your findings to a wide range of colleagues. About the Role: As a key member of the Data and Analytics team, you will be involved in data management, data integration, ELT, process automation, data modelling and analysis, reports and dashboard development to support business operations through the company. To succeed in this role you will need: A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a data analytics role which has provided exposure to data management, data modelling, data engineering, data analysis and data visualisation disciplines. Extensive experience in building ELT solutions. Be proficient with SQL, Python and Power BI (or Tableau) and have experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure ADF, Azure Synapse, Databricks or similar products. Extensive experience working directly with users to understand their requirements and efficiently building dashboards and reports through data modelling and visual design. Prior experience in working with data integration tools such as Jitterbit and in calling REST APIs and interrogating API responses is desirable, along with understanding of Data Governance principles and practices and knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
