This is an exciting opportunity for a Marine Engineer with electrical experience to join their maintenance team. They are currently looking to expand their fleet of vessels and are in the process of developing the first electrified retrofit Crew Transfer Vessel.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing marine electronics and electrical systems on commercial vessels.
2. Troubleshooting issues with navigation, communication, and safety equipment, ensuring all systems function efficiently.
3. Conducting both on-site visits to vessels and workshop tasks, requiring a solid understanding of marine technology and customer requirements.
This hands-on role is crucial in ensuring vessels stay operational and safe at sea.

The Role:
1. Varied work on all leisure boats from small RIBS and auxiliary engines to large sailing and motor yachts.
2. Installation, service, repairs, and fault finding on electrical and plumbing works.
3. Installation of a range of mechanical and domestic equipment to new and used boats.
4. Diagnostics and troubleshooting.
5. On-call duties once a fortnight.
6. Monday to Friday (9:00am-5:00pm).
The Person:
1. Marine Engineering background.
2. Proven experience in Marine engines MAN, D8 and D13 Volvo Penta, Cummins, and Kohler Generators.
3. In-depth understanding of mechanical workshop techniques and workshop equipment.
4. Full Driving License.
