Overview
Responsible for overall cleanliness of Spa facilities and for creating and maintaining an atmosphere of calm and relaxation in all areas of the Spa. Delivers professional and excellent guest service ensuring services and amenities provided are of Chumash Casino Resort standards and Gracious Hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
* Exemplifies high standards of guest service and professionalism at all times including welcoming and greeting guests warmly.
* Provides guests with robes, sandals, and locker access.
* Leads guest tours of the facilities including the locker room, relaxation lounge, and the hydrotherapy pool.
* Cleans and maintains the Spa’s relaxation areas, hydrotherapy pool area, treatment rooms, front desk reception area, and locker rooms including but not limited to removing trash and soiled linens, preparing product supplies for daily treatments, and ensuring all other supplies and refreshments are stocked and available to guests.
* Ensures guest safety by explaining proper use of facilities to the guests and monitoring their usage.
* Ensures guests arrive to their scheduled service on time.
* Maintains inventory levels of linens, locker amenities, and refreshments.
* Monitors and inspects steam rooms, saunas, and Hydrotherapy pools and notifies management when service is needed.
* Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
* Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
* Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
* Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
* Native American hiring preference applies.
