Job Title: Process Control & Systems Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Process Control & Systems Engineer to join our team in a well-established manufacturing organisation.
This role involves supporting the current multi-skilled engineering team in maintaining a modern plant and driving automation and process improvements across the site.
As an automation expert, you will lead projects delivering process control changes over various PLC, SCADA, and vision controlled systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all safety requirements are met when working with machinery, systems, and/or chemicals;
* Ensure hazardous area requirements are met, including installations and PMs;
* Enter detailed information into the CMMS (Maintenance Management System), including detailed history and downtime;
* Maintain plant and equipment to the highest standards;
* Rectify system/PLC faults and identify root cause;
* Create new PLC programs and software updates as required;
* Carry out work orders and PMs within set time frames;
* Support breakdowns within set time frames;
* Redesign and modify plant and machinery to maximize production outputs;
* Analyze maintenance/electrical/mechanical and breakdown history to ensure PM schedules align with breakdown history;
Requirements:
* Engineering degree or qualification; or HNC with industrial experience;
* Work experience within a manufacturing environment;
* PLC knowledge and ability in relation to fault finding and programming (Ladder Logic, C+, Structured text);

What We Offer:
Base salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
