Project Monitoring Officer - South Shields - can work 20hpw - 37hpw - 20.31 per hour inside IR35
Role will require in person meetings with delivery organisations across South Tyneside (travel expenses will be paid). Interviews to be held 15th November 2024
Overall Objectives of the Post:
Responsible for leading the monitoring and reporting the performance of a range of projects that are external funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund which are being delivered by South Tyneside Council and external partners.
You will also ensure effective service delivery by supporting and monitoring the grant programme and funding contracts. These programmes or projects could be either geographical focussed, thematic or contract basis.
Key Tasks
1. Regular collection and collation of project and programme output, outcome and expenditure information.
2. Completion of data returns to Government.
3. Administering payments to project delivery organisations.
4. Providing advice and support to delivery organisations to ensure satisfactory systems to monitor project and programme performance and finances are implemented.
5. Liaise with delivery organisations to provide guidance to ensure compliance with UKSPF funding requirements.
