The Public Health Programmes Team has direct commissioning responsibility for the delivery of theNHS Public Health Functions Agreements - Section 7ain the North East and Yorkshire for Screening and Immunisation programmes.
The post holder will work as part of this team in delivering an effective service, supporting managers and staff by:
Developing effective working relationships across the North East and North Cumbria with key stakeholders to ensure that commissioned screening and immunisation services are effective and meet KPIs and governance requirements in order to ensure that safe and effective services are delivered.
• Contributing to the development and redesign of care pathways to ensure services commissioned provide both quality and value for money.
• Assisting with the implementation of plans to support continuous improvement of the commissioning and delivery of the national programmes, ensuring equity of access and maximising uptake.
The post holder will:
• Support the team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects are planned, managed and delivered effectively.
• Support the provision of high quality information including reports, data communications and stakeholder management.
• Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects.
• Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
