The post holder will be expected: To participate in the delivery and development of ward based clinical pharmacy services. To participate in the provision of Medicines Information and advisory services to medical, nursing and other staff. To provide clinical pharmacy support to the inpatient and outpatient dispensaries and to undertake the role of Responsible Pharmacist when required. To provide professional supervision to technical and support staff. To contribute to the training of Trainee Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. To participate in clinical audit. To contribute to the practice and development of quality governance throughout the department. To undertake any training (managerial and professional) identified by staff appraisal. To participate in weekend, on-call, Bank Holiday, early and late working in accordance with agreed rotas. To maintain confidentiality at all times relating to the patients, staff and the Trust. To actively participate in the Staff Appraisal Process. To be familiar and comply with relevant Operational, Personnel, Health and Safety policies and procedures, including Fire, COSHH, No Smoking and Alcohol.
