A fantastic opportunity has arisen to recruit a Learning & Development Advisor (Social Work Professional Development) to join our Adult Workforce Team.
The position is a permanent, full-time role, and will support the development of adult social work practitioners to be confident and skilled, who put people at the centre of what we do.
If you have experience working in the Learning and Development field or have social work practice experience and have a passion for developing people, you may just be the person to help us to develop a thriving social work workforce, for today and the future!
You will work closely with the Social Work Professional Development Lead and Principal Social Worker, in developing learning and development solutions, supporting the delivery of masterclasses, creating innovative resources, and responding to outcomes from quality assurance audits.
You will also play a key role in advising and supporting on the delivery of an effective CPD programme for our social work practitioners, evaluate and quality assure learning and development activities.
You will also work closely with the Leeds & Wakefield Social Work Teaching Partnership in maintaining and developing our practice learning offer for social work students, supporting the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment programme, and leading the Social Work Degree Apprenticeship and Career Progression programmes.

We offer a salary of £36,648 to £39,186 (pro-rata) including up to 15 days flexi leave per year and lots of other benefits which make up our overall employee package, such as:
