Annual salary: up to £50,000.00 Contract Manager Location: West Lothian Full time – Permanent – 40 Hours per week Salary of up to £50,000 £4,500 car allowance We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Manager to join our Facilities Management team in West Lothian. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing a Facilities Management contract across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and delivering high-quality services to our client. This position specifically involves ensuring that 6 schools in the region are compliant with all standards. Mears provides a comprehensive facilities management service, encompassing various activities within the built environment and managing their impact on serviced properties. Principle Accountabilities: Lead and manage teams responsible for your contracts, including recruitment and motivating teams to provide outstanding customer service and excellent contract delivery Lead the day-to-day performance of your designated teams to deliver a best-in-class service, meeting or exceeding all KPIs and within budget Lead, inspire and co-ordinate your team to create motivated and engaged colleagues Oversee health and safety compliance across all sites, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and secure manner Manage the Profit and Loss account and Budgets to achieve financial targets Monitor, evaluate, and control the use of sub-contractors, suppliers, and the performance of labour resources Ensure all Lifecycle, Reactive, Planned, Statutory, and Non-Statutory preventative maintenance programs are completed on time and within budget, providing project management as necessary Act at all times in accordance with Mears Group Policies, Processes, and Systems, ensuring compliance with ISO9001, 14001, and 18001 standards Attend client meetings as required to develop and maintain key client relationships Provide project management for all Lifecycle works and assist in the preparation of bids and local business development activities Ensure the implementation of sustainable practices within maintenance and cleaning operations, including waste reduction and energy efficiency Carry out staff development and training to fulfil contract obligations working with HR and L&D departments where applicable Role Criteria: Experience in the above duties Full, Valid driving license Substantial experience within a Facilities Management environment and leading a team Competency in Microsoft office 365 applications & CAFM systems.
