About Push the Boat Out
Push the Boat Out (PTBO) is Edinburgh’s International Poetry Festival, a vibrant platform for poetry, spoken word, and performance. We’re heading into our fifth year in 2025 and we’ve recently secured multi-year funding from Creative Scotland. We are in a strong position to continue our development and we need a Creative Producer to help make it happen!
About the Role
As Creative Producer, you will work closely with the Director and Production Manager to deliver a well-organised, high-quality festival in November 2025. You’ll also contribute to programming, artist liaison, logistics, and year-round event support. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the festival’s creative direction while developing your producing and programming skills.
Location:Remote (with regular meetings and on-site during the festival).
Fee:£12,600 (£180/day, approx. 70 days)
Contract:Freelance, April 2025 – March 2026 (option to extend)
