Our client, a growing property & corporate lending company, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join their expanding team.Providing support daily to the Case Managers, the clients including investors & borrowers. As an Operations Assistant, youll be at the heart of managing loan facilities, liaising with clients, investors, solicitors, and surveyors, and ensuring smooth operational processes across the business. What Youll Do:
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by requesting loan updates, documentation, and providing excellent service.
Loan Management: Assist in managing loan facilities, coordinating loan releases, extensions, and redemptions.
Documentation & Reporting: Draft legal documents, statements, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
System Maintenance: Keep systems and databases (SharePoint, Google Docs, Excel) up to date to ensure smooth operations.
Transaction Tracking: Monitor and update loan transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and flow of information.
Coordination with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with solicitors, surveyors, clients, and investors to ensure loan processes move forward efficiently.
Administrative Support: Handle various admin tasks, including database management (land registry applications) and providing support to internal teams with daily requests.
What Were Looking For:
Experience: Experience within property or real estate lending, lending, financial services, or banking industries in a support capacity is preferred, but not essential. Previous experience in administrative roles or client-facing positions will also be considered.
Excellent Numerical Skills: Must be comfortable working with numbers, performing basic financial assessments, and ensuring accuracy.
Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable using systems like SharePoint and Google Docs.
