We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as the Clinical Team Manager and ensure we are delivering outstanding services to the children and young people of Wiltshire and BaNES. The service is based in Melksham and triages all requests for service in to the team for young people up to 18 years old who experience a range of difficulties associated with their mental health.
Main duties of the job
* You will hold overall management responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and operational matters for the Wiltshire and BaNES CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA).
* You will manage and supervise a diverse group of staff from a range of professional backgrounds, provide great leadership with enthusiasm for service transformation and determination to provide outstanding quality of care.
* You will coordinate and motivate the team, having robust oversight of waiting lists and working with key colleagues to ensure continuity of service.
* You will work as an integral member of the leadership team across BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire, providing management cover for other team managers as required.
* You will participate in the BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire Out of Hours On-Call Managers Rota.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
You can expect a comprehensive induction programme, including a range of shadowing opportunities to fully support the post holder in the role and ongoing in-house training.

Person specification
Knowledge Requirements
* Professional knowledge acquired through degree/diploma
* Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures and how these can be applied to a CAMHS setting
* Understanding of the legal and social policy issues influencing the work environment
Qualification- Academic/Skills/Professional
* Professional Health or Social Care Qualification
* Current professional registration with appropriate professional body e.g. NMC, HCPC
Experience
* Highly extensive experience in a mental health setting, working with young people or adults with mental illness and/or learning disabilities
* Experience of leading a development or change within a service setting
* Experience of working with children and young people who have serious mental illness and their families and carers in the community
* Understanding of evidence-based practice and the ability to demonstrate how this influences clinical practice
* Managing, supervising, mentoring and appraising clinical staff.
