Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail store in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
1. Lead and inspire a team of retail professionals to achieve store goals and objectives
2. Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
3. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards
4. Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and optimize product placement
5. Analyze sales data and key performance indicators to make informed business decisions
6. Recruit, train, and develop store staff to maintain a high-performing team
7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently
8. Collaborate with regional management to implement company-wide initiatives
9. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers and employees
10. Oversee cash management and financial reporting for the store
11. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to drive store performance
Qualifications
12. Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role
13. Background in fashion or luxury retail
14. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
15. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences
16. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities
17. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
18. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, effective decisions
19. Experience in inventory management and loss prevention techniques
20. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
21. Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
22. Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
23. Commitment to promoting company values and fostering a positive store culture
Please note this role is a full time, permanent contract. The hours are 45h per week, 5 days over 7 including a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
