Uniform Education are currently recruiting for 2 full-time behaviour LSAs to start in January at a mainstream school in SW14. Please see below for more details:
Job Details:
1. Working as an LSA to support students with SEND needs
2. Monday - Friday, 8:20 am - 4:00 pm
3. Pay £90 - £110 per day depending on experience
4. MUST have DBS on UDS or willing to process one
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and small group support to a pupil with autism, both in and out of the classroom.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans that meet the individual needs of the pupil.
3. Support the pupil's social, emotional, and behavioral development, helping them navigate school life.
4. Use appropriate strategies to manage challenging behaviors in a calm and constructive manner.
5. Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other support staff to ensure the pupil's needs are being met.
6. Encourage the pupil's independence and self-confidence in academic and social situations.
7. Maintain accurate records of the pupil's progress and share information with relevant staff.
