You will be responsible for
As a Maintenance Technician your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:
* Confidently Interact with External Contractors : Coordinating repairs seamlessly.
* Work Collaboratively with the Team : Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
* Sustain High Energy Levels : Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
* Assist the Management Team : Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
* Minimize Customer Disruption : Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.
Responsibilities will include;
* Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
* Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
* Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
* General day to day store and property maintenance.
* Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
* Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities and planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
* Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
* Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

You will need
As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
Operational Skills:
* ONC or equivalent
* Full driving license
* Health & Safety awareness
* Communication & Collaboration
* Office 365 knowledge
* Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.

* Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary
