We are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant who will work with the Management Accountant, Finance Director, and operations teams producing monthly Management Accounts and supporting documentation while helping support the business through its future growth. Excellent communication skills, accuracy, efficiency, and an eye for detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
* Production of Monthly Financial packs for clients and property managers.
* Maintaining control schedules, adherence to the finance timetable, compliance with Group/client policies and procedures.
* Ensure management fees, sales, and purchase invoicing is up to date and payments are reviewed and made on a timely basis.
* Monthly Prepayments and Accruals.
* Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Bank Account reconciliations.
* Assist in the delivery of the clients' annual Property Budgets within agreed deadlines.
* Internal contact for accounting queries.
* Support with the company’s and client’s Annual Statutory Audits.
* Maintain effective relationships with internal VervLife and HfS departments, including commercial, technical, land, legal, customer service, and operations.
* Any Other Ad-Hoc tasks as required.

Experience And Qualifications
* Actively studying for an accountancy qualification or reached latter stages of AAT level 4 or equivalent.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of Accounts experience.
* Good communicator and interpersonal skills.
* Good organisational skills and can work in a methodical manner.
* Time management skills.
* Knowledge of finance computer software with Xero and Navision preferred.
No role profile can be entirely comprehensive and you will be expected to be flexible and carry out other duties as required from time to time. This is on the understanding the duties will be within the individual’s capability and are consistent with the level and responsibilities of the role.
Study package is offered following successful completion of Probationary Period.
