Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Account Payable Accountant to join our team to help process, track and record invoices and payments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire AP cycle in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
The account payable accountant will build working relationships internally across the business, but specifically with the general accounting function.
Duties
* Managing accounts payable using accounting software (SAP) and other programs (SharePoint)
* Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
* Ensure all invoices are processed correctly and with the appropriate authorisation
* Prepare and process payments ensuring invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner
* Follow up Internal and external inquiries in a timely manner
* Review and process employees travel expenses ensuring that reports are in line with local and company rules
* Maintain good working relationships with other team members
* Support internal and external auditors
* Support the team with general administrative duties (check mailbox, archive, ...)
* Project work as assigned
* Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process

Required Experience:
* 1 or 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable accounting or similar function
Required Languages:
* English required as a company language, any other language is a plus
Education Requirements
* Commercial apprenticeship and/or degree or college diploma in accounting
