What the Job Involves This position demands comprehensive cleaning and laundry tasks, including washing bed linens and children's clothes, vacuuming, and maintaining the cleanliness of surfaces, floors, and nappy changing areas. Managing purchasing and storage of necessary materials to keep the utility area organized is key. You will uphold hygiene and safety standards while assisting the Cook in meal preparation and service. Duties also involve supporting relevant policies on equalities and inclusion, attending mandatory meetings, and working across various settings, including other Children’s Centres. The role requires a commitment to a Monday to Friday schedule from 10 am to 6 pm, an Enhanced DBS check, and flexibility to adapt to varying hours.
