An exciting opportunity has arisen foraSeniorSpecialist Physiotherapistto work in the Elective Orthopaedic Therapy Team at Trafford hospital within the AHP Division.
You will beleadinga dynamic, well-established, multidisciplinary team, alongside a Clinical Lead, experienced Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Assistants. We promote close multidisciplinary team working allowinga holistic approachto patient care.
TheOrthopaedictherapy teamoperatesa 7 day and evening twilightserviceand all staff are expected to contribute. You would also be expected tocontributedto the on call respiratory rota.

You will provide specialistelective orthopaedic knowledge to support theassessment and management of Elective Orthopaedic patients at the Trafford Elective Surgical Hub.You willwork with a wide range ofelective orthopaedicpatients across the Day Surgery unit and the In-patientorthopaedicward.
As part of this Band7roleyou willwork closely with the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and Band 7 Occupational Therapist to driveservice developments and quality improvement initiatives. You will alsobe responsible forthe supervision ofregisteredand unregistered members of staff.
The department puts a strong emphasis on the learning environment and ensures that staffand studentscan develop skills and knowledge to their full potential, as the Band 7 Physiotherapist you would be expected to deliver undergraduate and staff training.
