The role will be based in the Greater Manchester area. Benefits in the role of Process Engineer : Competitive salary and benefits package Monday Friday working hours (8.15am 4.30pm) Opportunities for professional development and growth Challenging and rewarding work environment Collaboration with experienced professionals in the semiconductor industry Process Engineer responsibilities: Review lots on hold for Quality/Electrical issues at Wafer Test and PCM, disposition ensuring there is a feedback loop to Process Engineers to investigate low yield or quality issue Initiate root cause analysis and develop corrective actions to improve site yield and quality metrics Create and maintainPROMIS routes, support any changes for Data collection/SPC operations. Maintain Key & Automotive controls within Test, i.e., DPAT, SYLs SBLs etc. Develop knowledge of the NSX330 AOI & Discover review software to aid project work. Good understanding of Semiconductor manufacturing process & platforms to aid yield investigations and root cause analysis. Support all manufacturing activities to ensure that all quality and customer requirements are met. Join cross functional teams and work group activities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Understanding and support for the Assembly Quality rejects log in dispositions and feedback into Process Engineering Attain Six Sigma Green/Black belt qualification in to support/mentor CI projects. Support the creation and maintenance of Yield & Quality reports Support new product development work in Wafer Test and PCM as is applicable to yield activities Create and maintain scripts and programs necessary to support manufacturing and quality standards, this includes but is not limited to electronic mapping, dPAT and GDBN The successful Process Engineer must have: Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or similar qualification Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Motivation to develop technical knowledge, through training, research, and experimentation Knowledge of semiconductor physics and electronic devices Excellent IT skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are interested in thisfantastic Process Engineer opportunity, then please apply now with your current updated CV.
