You will also provide technical administrative support related to project delivery and engagement. You will be supporting both our project delivery teams and the wider engineering team, which encompasses internal staff, contractors and external stakeholders. As such, it is essential that you can work in a multidisciplinary team, comfortable with planning and coordinating team activities. Prior experience in a utilities or construction background would be advantageous, as it will help you appreciate the impact that the engineering works have on our operations team and our customers – this is however, not essential. Proficient knowledge of Excel and general IT systems is crucial, as you will be creating and managing complex spreadsheets to track key engineering processes that will help delivery projects to deadline. You will also be creating project performance reports and carrying out quality assurance of inspection reports and project data. A good level of literacy and administrative know-how will come in handy as you manage documents on our company system. You will act as a central point of coordination between engineering staff and stakeholders. As such, you will need to possess a full, clean driving license to attend project and operations meetings. Managing the reporting process for delivery teams, Liaise with contractors to ensure quality assurance of inspection reports and project data, Checking data and formatting of completed reports before submitting to the Assets Department. Managing complex spreadsheets, updating documentation, and maintaining project performance reports. Liaising with stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress and priorities. Updating and managing documentation via the Company’s systems. Obtaining and issuing work instruction numbers from within the Maximo system and acting as a point of contact for 'Maximo' within Engineering. What do you bring to the role? Knowledge and experience working in a utilities or construction environment desirable. Understanding of the CDM H&S regulations project notification process is desirable. Excellent analytical, numerical and planning skills are essential. Proficiency with MS Office, in particular Excel is essential Good standard of written and verbal communication. Capability to effectively present numerical information and liaise with stakeholders. Full, clean driving license. What can you expect from us?
