Our client is a leading international law firm whose client base includes leading financial institutions. They are now recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join their disputes team in Bristol. The main purpose of the role is to deliver proactive, high-quality secretarial support tailored to fee-earners' needs, allowing them to concentrate on client-focused legal services and minimising their involvement in administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Proactively manage and maintain fee-earners' diaries, scheduling appointments and co-ordinating internal and external client meetings Organising travel arrangements through the firms travel company Effectively manage new client matter opening and any additional tasks and duties Submitting invoices for the payment through the accounts payable team and monitoring progress Submit edits and format changes to bids, pitches and other client documents. Education / Qualifications / Experience: Experience as a secretary within a professional services environment Knowledge and Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications Strong knowledge of document and client relationship management systems, OCR/PDF software, and financial recording tools General Skills: Client-focused approach Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset Excellent communication skills across all levels Self-management, accountability, and professionalism, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure Ability to foster personal and professional development Keen attention to detail and discretion with confidential information Effective in working as part of a diverse and inclusive team Creative and forward-thinking approach to tasks If this Legal Secretary role sounds of interest to you, please apply now
