Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a HSQE Advisor to join the business. This role is field based with frequent travel to sites across the Midlands.
About the role:
Led by the HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality and Environment) Director, the department’s role is to help the business make the best choices for the safety, environment, health and quality of our operation, our team and our customers.
As a HSQE Advisor you will provide technical guidance, advice and assurance on all HSQE matters to support the business. This will allow effective risk management of work sites covering the telecoms Service Delivery arm for the business.
Responsibilities:
* To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
* Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified are pursued and resolved.
* Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
* Provide expert HSQE advice, monitoring, assurance and support to employees and sub-contractors on HSQE related matters and initiatives.
* Define options and make recommendations for remedial and preventative actions in order to secure sustained compliance with MJQ IMS, legislation and customers’ requirements.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a HSQE Advisor role.
* HSQE qualification.
* NEBOSH General Certificate.
* Certificate in Construction Safety or equivalent.
