Energy & Utility Skills are looking for a Gas Technical Manager to join their Gas Industry Standard Setting team.

About the role
The Gas Technical Manager will be responsible for producing and maintaining the Matters of Gas Safety assessment criteria and training specifications for organisations involved in the certification leading to Gas Safe Registration.
Working in collaboration with a range of stakeholders including, certification bodies, awarding organisations, industry employers and Gas Safe Register, you will ensure that the Matters of Gas Safety criteria is produced in line with industry standards and technological developments.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable operational experience within the downstream gas industry together with a good understanding of the Gas Safe Register and how it operates.
Understanding of the Accredited Certification Scheme, and gas engineering qualifications and apprenticeships needed.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will have a track record of building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
