Our client specialises in manufacturing aluminium alloy sand castings and gravity die castings. They design and produce tooling for these castings and provide services ranging from raw castings to fully finished, machined, and painted products. Their work caters to industries such as engineering, construction, aerospace, and transport.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring customer quality standards are met or exceeded while managing the seamless operation of the quality, inspection, and heat treatment departments.
This is a full-time position, working hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-4.30pm, with the expectation that additional hours are to be worked as and when required.
The Benefits:
Salary: £35,000 (opportunity for pay increase after 6 month's probation)
24 days holiday + bank holiday

Quality Manager - Responsibilities:
Oversee the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with business goals and full implementation of policies and procedures.
Manage the quality, inspection, and heat treatment departments.
Communicate with customers on quality issues, monitor satisfaction, and handle complaints.
Prepare PPAP documentation when required.
Administer concession and production permit processes.
Ensure training for relevant staff.
Address product nonconformities and initiate corrective actions.
Maintain quality data in the Data Manager.
Ensure compliance with batch card instructions.Quality Manager - Requirements:
Proven experience in ISO 9001:2015 accreditation management, including internal audits and maintaining certification.
Familiarity with internal systems, including SAP recording and material certification processes.
Background in metals or chemistry industries.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
