Job Description
This role will be responsible for configuring, upgrading, designing, and maintaining the labour planning tools used at Castle Donington to plan our labour resources and deliver our cost spend targets. This will require the use of process and forecasting experience, industrial engineering skills, and the ability to build supplier relationships. To ensure that our Planning tools utilize up-to-date technology and accurately reflect the site operation and deliver our labour budget within plan.

What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
* Support the Planning and Performance Optimisation Manager to deliver robust resource plans for all chambers and shifts based on agreed site Key Performance Indicators, Industrial engineering data, operational processes and tasks, and historic performance.
* Accountable for future Castle Donington design decisions to improve the planning tools including Red Pilot and its Time & Attendance interface and responsible for the relevant supplier relationships, handling the onsite backlog of change.
* Ensures that site processes and tasks are accurately reflected and correctly measured through Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) governance process, accurate Key Performance Indicators, and system configuration.
* Works with Central Forecasting Team and Volume Planning Manager to develop site-specific forecasts and trends.
* Responsible for producing long-term strategic scenario views of operational performance and hours requirements versus planned labour budgets, recommending CI and development efficiency work to take place, to bridge any gaps and advise and deliver against agreed budgets.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
* Experience of resource planning processes and workload forecasting.
* A detailed understanding of Industrial Engineering processes and tools or be willing to be trained.
* Number-oriented with strong data analytical/mathematical skills with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise multiple conflicting priorities.
* Able to perform detailed analysis in Microsoft Excel and a proven understanding of WFM systems, such as Red PILOT.
* Strong communication skills with an ability to understand technical and financial issues and relay them to non-technical business users.
