What to expect:
* Manage and mentor a dedicated team to exceed client expectations.
* Handle team performance, recruitment, and development with a focus on accountability and excellence.
* Oversee all crematorium operations, ensuring standards, policies, and procedures are upheld.
* Ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency across the whole site while managing budgets, finance, and KPIs.
* Build relationships with external agencies and promote community engagement initiatives.
What we're looking for:
* Strong leadership experience in operations or logistics.
* People-focused, with proven skills in coaching and team management.
* Excellent communicator and problem solver, with strong organisational abilities.
* IT literate and confident in managing budgets and performance.
* Qualified Crematorium Technician an advantage - Not essential as training will be provided.
* UK driving license required.
Training:
* Previous experience within the funeral industry is not required as we’ll provide full training.
* Travel to other sites will be required.
