Project Manager - Business Change - £550 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working from a site near Durham - 6 Months initial contract. My client, the UKs largest producer of ZERO CARBON energy, is looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong focus on business change to lead and manage technology-driven transformation projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at bridging the gap between technology and business operations, ensuring seamless integration of new systems, processes, and ways of working. Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and deliver a number of Business Improvement projects that drive significant business change, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies. Lead cross-functional project teams, including IT, business units, and third-party vendors. Monitor project progress, manage changes, and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders. Ensure effective change management practices are in place, including communication plans, training, and user adoption strategies. Identify and manage project risks and issues, providing solutions and escalations as necessary. Deliver post-implementation support and conduct project reviews to capture lessons learned. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on business change and transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMI). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in leading change management processes, including user adoption and training strategies. Ability to analyse complex business problems and propose effective IT solutions. Competence in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello). Desirable Qualifications: Formal project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner).
