As Fullstack Web Developer, you will build out the next generation of our websites and platform s. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with experience in developing scalable platforms. We’re looking for someone with experience in frontend development. They must have strong customer focus and communication skills. What will you be doing? Write code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as React, TypeScript Collaborate with designers, developers and project team on new product developments Working with external customers Gather and document product requirements from internal/external customers Define and communicate technical and design requirements Provide technical support if needed Plan and prototype new applications Collaborate in designing the architecture of the components of an application Collaborate on the best technologies and languages for the project Design and develop web pages (WordPress), email templates Problem-solve Maintain and improve existing portals and sites Fix bugs in existing projects Test sites and applications in different browsers and environments Test new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases Develop automated tests to ensure performance of new and existing products Review colleagues' and external developer’s code Build and test Application Program Interfaces (APIs) Build and maintain databases Learn new technologies, frameworks and languages Stay up to date with new trends in web development What will you need? Essential: 3 years' experience within programming Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment) Experience working with: JavaScript React or AngularJS, TypeScript & PHP (Laravel). A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices. A logical approach to problem solving Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage a complex range of tasks and meet deadlines Very good communication skills Desirable: Experience with WordPress Experience developing APIs Experience of development methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall) Experience using issue tracking tools (such as: Jira) Experience with cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
