About the Role:
The role exists to be primarily responsible for leading the delivery of the Site Annual CapEx program. They are also key to the delivery of the technical CI projects, and line trials to support NPD and component changes.
The Project Engineering Manager liaises closely with the Global Head of Engineering to exploit synergies, optimize the asset base and leverage the purchasing power across the global STADA group. The job holder has responsibilities across all UK sites providing project and technical support and work in conjunction with all appropriate departments dependent upon the project being undertaken. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Ensure the manufacturing facility gains maximum benefit from the adoption of appropriate new and emerging technologies.
* Identify and implement projects to enhance the safety, quality and efficiency and capability of the manufacturing facility.
* Undertake projects in support of continuous improvement initiatives.
* Develop and maintain systems and procedures to ensure projects meet the user requirements and are delivered on time and on budget.
* Ensure projects are appropriately supported by documentation and training in order to achieve full production capability within the shortest possible time frame.
* Assure compliance with Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) guidelines through thorough planning and execution of documented equipment qualification activities- DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ.

* Degree educated or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
* Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ or equivalent).
* Strong HSE knowledge and focus (NEBOSH).
* Have led multiple complex projects independently.
* Held numerous leadership roles in other projects, programmes and/or portfolios with a track record of successful delivery.
