We are looking for dedicated, motivated, and compassionate Teaching Assistants to provide one-to-one support, assist in small groups, and offer general classroom support across a number of secondary schools in Swadlincote.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support to students, assisting them in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential.
Work with small groups of students to support their learning and development.
Assist the class teacher in managing classroom activities and ensuring a positive, productive learning environment.
Adapt to different classroom settings and provide tailored support as required.
Support students with additional needs and help foster an inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role in an educational setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
