Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused.
They are accountable for achieving this by:
1. Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times.
2. Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service, and retail standards.
3. Contributing to efficiencies through adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines.
4. Understanding daily/weekly targets.
5. Ensuring personal awareness of all additional sales avenues, such as eventing, Omni, and digital channels.
6. Keeping up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities.
7. Effectively utilizing social media to leverage opportunities to drive the business and enhance the Brand image.
8. Delivering the Brand Strategy and an effective local plan.
9. Planning and implementing local marketing and events initiatives aligned with Retailer activity.
10. Delivering excellence in service, with measures to continually improve service levels and foster a surprise and delight culture.
11. Being an Ambassador for the Brand, ensuring Brand values are represented and brought to life.
12. Managing refunds and complaints per Company guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager when appropriate.
13. Using digital tools to keep knowledge up to date.
14. Delivering consumer recruitment and retention strategies to build a loyal customer base.
15. Developing up-to-date product knowledge to ensure an industry-leading experience that meets consumer needs.
Operations
1. Planning to ensure high standards in product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing.
2. Reviewing retail standards daily to ensure maintenance of standards.
3. Ensuring timely completion of deliveries, stock movements, and administration.
4. Fulfilling all auditable processes and taking corrective actions as needed.
5. Meeting information requests accurately and within deadlines.
6. Minimising stock loss by following Security Policies and Procedures.
7. Creating and maintaining a safe environment for consumers, adhering to Policies and Procedures.
8. Ensuring health & safety responsibilities and operational activities achieve at least an 'Acceptable' grade during audits.
Commerciality
1. Managing daily replenishment and taking appropriate actions.
2. Maximising sales using all commercial reports for decision-making.
3. Planning and delivering visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines and timelines.
4. Identifying stock issues and taking corrective actions, informing the Area Manager when necessary.
5. Managing promotions and discounts in line with guidelines.
6. Identifying trends and suggesting improvements to product performance.
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment.
* Ability to drive self-development.
* Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry.
* Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
