The Governors at Mountain Lane School are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and dedicated person who will undertake the above role in support of the school community. This is a key role within the school team being front of house and often the first port of call.
The principle responsibilities will include servicing all the administrative needs of the school and those delegated by the Headteacher, Business Manager and Senior Management Team.
The successful candidate will be educated to a good standard, demonstrating very good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. The key requisites of this position are professionalism, integrity and confidentiality. Additionally, the post holder must be able to work independently, as part of a team and display enthusiasm and flexibility. The post holder must be self-motivated and willing to work largely unsupervised and must be able to foster a highly organised administrative operation. They must be approachable and friendly as they will be the first contact visitors will have with the school.
Essential skills:
A sound knowledge of digital skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and Email.
The ability to relate well to adults and children.
A caring, trustworthy and honest nature.
Excellent communication skills and to be organised and efficient.
The ability to prioritise your workload.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a busy working environment.
The ability to work in a team under directions and independently.
Desirable skills:
Knowledge and experience of SIMS and P2P.
Experience of working in an Educational Setting.
An ability to use basic Welsh language phrases or has a desire to learn and promote the Welsh
language.
