Role description:
We're looking for a Project MEP Cost Consultant to join our growing MEP Commercial Management team.
You will play a key role in delivering some of our biggest data centre construction projects in the UK and across Europe.
Role accountabilities:
1. Deliver a number of small to medium cost projects and assignments or significant components of larger assignments, ensuring appropriate use of resources and budgets to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines
2. Provide advice to colleagues on risk management, compliance and associated behaviours, to ensure adherence to Arcadis risk and compliance processes
3. Present any project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted
4. Analyse and review a range of data and documents to collate key themes and trends, using this analysis in conjunction with own knowledge to provide advice and make recommendations to support cost and commercial management decision-making
5. Share knowledge and provide insightful recommendations to assist service improvement and innovation
6. Interact effectively and proactively across the organisation, building individual network & profile across the business, and applying technical knowledge to ensure projects/programmes can be delivered to meet cost expectations
7. Provide specialist technical advice to senior management on issues relating to MEP cost/commercial management, providing solutions and actively sharing knowledge in order to support successful delivery
Qualifications & Experience:

8. Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
9. Previous experience in a similar MEP Cost & Commercial role
10. In depth technical knowledge, including construction processes and cost & commercial management
11. Experience of leading smaller projects and supporting on larger more complex MEP projects
12. Experience completing commercial analysis and insights
13. Experience working closely with external stakeholders to build client relationships
14. Experience managing business relationships and supporting with middle management level activities
