Location: Remote (Home working with ad-hoc office and client premise attendance.)

In a nutshell
We are seeking an experienced and process-orientated Scrum Master with expertise in end-to-end software development lifecycle projects, working closely with developers, product designers, product owners and other stakeholders to enhance the performance and efficiency of our project teams whilst adhering to Scrum and Agile principles.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
* Removing impediments: Identify and resolve any obstacles that hinder the team’s progress.
* Facilitating the team’s understanding of backlog items as prioritised by the Product Owner, ensuring clarity and alignment with goals for the sprint.
* Ensuring team accountability: Help the team stay on track and maintain a sustainable pace of work.
* Fostering transparency: Promote clear communication and transparency in reporting progress and addressing challenges.
* Driving continuous improvement: Lead retrospectives to identify and apply actionable improvements.
* Managing risks and dependencies: Proactively address risks and manage external dependencies that may affect delivery.
* Using Scrum metrics: Track and interpret key metrics like velocity and burn-down charts to drive team performance improvements.
* Collaborate with the Head of Product Engineering to align Agile methodologies with client needs, ensuring continuous capability enhancement.
Essential Skills/Experience
* Proven experience as a Scrum Master, ideally within software development, digital transformation, or consultancy settings.
* Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with expertise in working directly with clients or senior stakeholders, managing expectations and helping to deliver tailored solutions.
* Proven success in helping to deliver end-to-end projects using Agile methodologies within cross-functional teams.
* Strong analytical skills within project settings, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable deliverables for scrum teams.
* Process-driven, with the ability to maintain scalable processes across multiple projects.
* Strong analytical skills to help with continually improving our Agile approach.

Desirable skills/experience
* Appropriate Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, II, III)
* Experience in a consultancy or professional services business model.
* Active Security Clearance (SC) is desirable but not essential, as we are able to sponsor applications, as a requirement for all staff.
* Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from discovery to delivery, facilitating effective collaboration with development teams.
