If so, this role is for you We are looking for a dynamic Retail Sales & Training Specialist to drive Sky’s brand presence and maximise sales across a defined retail estate. In this role, you will deliver engaging training sessions to in-store sales advisors, General Managers (GMs), and Regional Managers (RMs), ensuring they have the knowledge and enthusiasm to sell Sky’s products effectively. You will also build strong relationships across your territory, maintain brand visibility through effective merchandising, and report on valuable retail and consumer insights. Key Responsibilities: Deliver frequent and immersive training sessions to retail staff (both one-on-one and group sessions). Build and maintain strong partnerships with store teams, GMs, and RMs to drive brand advocacy and in-store engagement. Ensure Sky’s brand displays and merchandising meet agreed standards and make necessary updates as required. Support in-store sales teams during physical sales days to maximise sales opportunities. Engage with digital platforms (e.g., My Learning and Workplace) to share content and inspire retailer colleagues. Gather and report valuable retail and consumer insights to improve sales and customer engagement strategies. Attend regular HQ meetings to share insights and contribute to commercial strategies. Skills & Experience: Essential: Proven experience in sales or training, with a strong results-driven approach. Previous experience in in-store brand advocacy, product demonstrations, or similar roles. Understanding of retail commercial strategies and ability to apply them effectively. Ability to build strong relationships at all levels, from sales advisors to senior management. Strong merchandising and compliance skills, ensuring brand visibility and adherence to standards. Ability to manage multiple initiatives while evaluating return on investment (ROI). Experience using digital platforms for training, engagement, and reporting. Ability to collect and report on retail and consumer insights. A valid and full UK manual driving licence Desirable: Previous experience leading sales teams or managing retail partnerships. Experience managing CRM budgets for engagement activities. Knowledge of measuring sales performance and ROI. Ability to assess data insights to drive sales and engagement strategies. Experience working in a field-sales role with territory ownership.
