The role of Welder (Trainer Assessor) would suit those with significant experience as a welder in the engineering industry with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. You will have demonstrable experience in various engineering environments specifically with MIG, TIG and ARC welding, other welding skills will be considered and will possibly be advantageous. You do not need to have previous experience of teaching, tutoring or assessing. The company will provide you with the skills to be able to deliver apprenticeship and training courses and formal qualifications along the way. Candidates with any previous teaching/assessing experience/qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
This is a varied role where you will be working within a state of the art training facility amongst and with the support of an experienced team to deliver both standardised and bespoke programs. All learners are enrolled by their employers for specific courses and are there as part of their skill development within their current roles, this is not a general education center. All courses are both classroom and workshop based and you will benefit from a wide range of theory and practical learning resources with live workstations for training.

Personal Requirements:
* Experienced in all general welding practices including ARC, MIG and TIG.
* Hold a recognised engineering qualification at level 3 or equivalent as a minimum.
* A desire to pass on knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.
