RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Serve all customers in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner at all times.
* Ensure guests receive the highest standard of customer service at all times.
* Advise guests on all products available within the venue.
* Promote a happy and welcoming atmosphere within the venue.
* Work both alone and as part of a team, ensuring all guests' needs are met to the highest standards.
* Maintain stock levels and rotation within work and storage areas to avoid waste and assist with stocktaking.
* Ensure the work area is adequately stocked with glassware, ice, condiments, and other sundries according to stock levels and business needs.
* Lay up and prepare restaurants/boxes for serving meals, tea, coffee, and light refreshments.
* Serve guests efficiently with food and beverage knowledge, and carry out necessary duties as directed by your manager.
* Serve wine and other drinks from the bar as directed by management.
* Keep work and public areas clean and tidy before, during, and after opening hours, paying attention to Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines.
* Ensure all orders are correctly dispensed, recorded, and authorized for billing.
* Ring through orders and obtain payment in line with Racecourse procedures.
* Close tills according to company procedures.
* Keep temperature records and other paperwork accurately.
* Follow all licensing policies and procedures.
* Handle cash, stock, and equipment securely.
* Act as an information point for customers.
* Record wastage and dispose of rubbish according to venue procedures and recycling initiatives.
* Adhere to company policies and undertake other duties as required by business demands.
