Working as part of a team, you will work with businesses in the Lincolnshire area to provide support that will encourage growth and development. You will identify areas of support using diagnostic tools which will enable you to provide effective, impartial business advice. The role requires someone with a background in small or medium businesses, either working in them, or in a support or partnership role. You will have experience in business development, helping to ensure you are on the same page as them. You will need to build and grow relationships across a variety of different fields to support businesses within your region, as well as identify partners to provide support on your behalf. Knowledge and understanding of Government organisations, national business support organisations and initiatives, policy, and funding initiatives will be beneficial, as will knowledge of the financial support available. You will also act as an ambassador for the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub and participate in networking events, exhibitions, and other events to promote the holistic service the growth hub provides and support businesses that are in attendance. A bit about you This role needs someone who is interested in businesses from all industry sectors and understands the right ingredients that contribute to business success. You will have a can-do attitude and the ability to manage priorities effectively and efficiently. You will be able to convey information professionally, accurately, and clearly, as well as demonstrate presentation and report-writing skills. You will be assigned your own client caseload and will need to be able to work proactively to manage it and to engage with new clients You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence individuals and groups. You will be required to travel in this role as you will be meeting businesses across Lincolnshire.
