Reporting to the Practice Manager my Client based in Lisburn require a Full-time Receptionist to join their team on a permanent basis
Duties:
* Greeting patients in person and on telephone, making, cancelling appointments
* Update patient’s computer records as directed
* Liaising with various agencies where required to provide repeat prescriptions when authorised
* Coordinate patient appointments, hospital letters etc with staff members to ensure procedures are effective
* Diary management
* Organising, filing and maintaining patient records
* Maintain a tidy reception desk and public areas

Essential Criteria
* 4 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (including English) or equivalent
* Or NVQ Level 2 Customer Care or equivalent
* Or 1 year’s recent relevant experience
* To be computer literate with a minimum of 6 months’ experience of working with computers in an administrative capacity.
* To possess effective communication skills in dealing with the public.
* To demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Desirable Criteria
* To possess previous working experience in a similar working environment.
* To possess effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
* To demonstrate an ability to prioritise workload.
* To possess a professional telephone manner and a clear
37 hours pw Mon, Tues 9am - 6pm, Wed 1pm - 6pm, Thurs 9am - 6pm & Fri 9am - 6pm
£12 per hour (increase from 1st April)
